Did you so that when the money in the account at the customs office, you're being distracted and you did a mistake? And then they waited long and painfully for the money to be credited to the account. Thoughts about downtime are spinning in your head, you are already mentally calculating how much time and effort will be spent on a refund, then you throw them back into the account and wait again.
And as time goes on, everyone is nervous and angry. Familiar?
I think almost every participant in foreign trade has at least once faced a similar situation. But since October 1, the life of customs payers has become a little easier. Now it is possible to clarify information incorrectly specified in settlement (payment) documents through the personal account of a foreign trade participant on the website of the Federal customs service of Russia, if the funds were classified by the Federal Treasury as undisclosed receipts.
I want to say: "It's high time!" because the human factor cannot be excluded. Mistakes happen to everyone. But when it comes to customs, mistakes are usually very expensive. Every day of downtime and any delay costs the importer a pretty penny.
Therefore, in accordance with the order of the Federal customs service of Russia dated 30.09.2020 No. 364-R from October 1, 2020, it is possible to specify the following information in the settlement (payment) documents of funds classified by the Federal Treasury bodies as undisclosed receipts:
- recipient's TIN
, - recipient's checkpoint,
- KBK of settlement (payment) documents.
In your Personal account, in accordance with the payer's TIN, you will be provided with a list of payment documents for which funds are recorded as undisclosed receipts.
To clarify incorrect information in the payment document, you must fill out an electronic document with updated information, sign it with an enhanced qualified electronic signature and send it to the Federal customs service of Russia via your Personal account.
If your technical ability does not allow you to edit incorrect information in the payment documents, you can still operate the "old way", namely, to submit a written application to the head of the Main Directorate for Federal customs revenues and tariff regulation of the FCS of Russia (GUPTA and TR FCS) Lieutenant General of customs service V. M. Cmore. A copy of such a letter must be sent by Fax, and the original must be sent to the address: 11/5 Novozavodskaya street, Moscow, 121087. In this case, you can't count on efficiency, and it will be easier and faster to re-Deposit money to the account, having already specified the correct data. Of course, the money that did not reach customs will not go anywhere and after some time your request will be considered. But this process will take a lot of precious time.
No one can guarantee that the clarification via your personal account will be quick and the money will be credited to your personal account in no time. That is why, be careful when filling out payment orders, but if you still make a mistake, now you know what to do!
